- More accurate calculations - Variance and other calculated values. Operator support for hierarchy tools now returns operator information, enabling LLMs to correctly apply subtraction and exclusion rules when rolling up financial metrics.
- More complete results for large reports - Improved data retrieval reduces the risk of incomplete results when working with large datasets. Vena MCP also provides clearer information when additional report data is available.
- More reliable filtering - Filters for Scenario, Year, Period and other reporting dimensions now return more consistent results, including when filtering by parent members.
- Support for larger reports - Vena MCP can now retrieve up to 50,000 rows, increased from 10,000, so you can work with larger reports and analyses.
- New Claude skill bundles - Get started faster with downloadable Claude skill bundles for common reporting and analysis tasks. Download them from the MCP Onboarding page in Vena.
- User Token login now available for MCP - Users can now authenticate to Vena's MCP server using their own user identity tokens, enabling support for environments with SSO enabled. Learn more about connecting to Vena MCP with SSO.
